The thing about designers and creative professionals is that no two are exactly the same. Well, that can be a true statement for any people out there, but designers and the creatives are really, really unique even though they might share the same profession. One thing that works great for one pro might be another pro’s nightmare. You know that saying “to each his own,” that could not be more true when it comes to the tools that designers use throughout the day to get their job done.

Again, different things work the best for different people, and designers can be a picky bunch of people wen it comes to certain apps and computer programs that they prefer. There are some sure things of all design and creative pros though:

They love to use the cloud.

Only a few tools are needed to get the job done.

Whatever tools and apps are used, these guys (and gals) are passionate about them.

If you are curious to know what designers are loving as far as their apps are concerned, then the infographic down below has got it for you. Some of the things did not surprise me one bit, then there were others that I found quite interesting.

There are some talented and artistically minded gardeners who seem to have a magical ability to bring whimsy and enchantment to the grounds surrounding some of the world’s most elegant adt homes. This is a true art form, and one that practiced less and less by only a few masters who, hopefully, will pass on their skills and knowledge to new generations who can carry on the tradition. You may remember seeing sculptured hedges in children’s book illustrations or in movies, or perhaps even in movies and other popular media and wondered how they manage to create such beauty from the chaos that is shrubbery. Well, wonder no longer.

Here is a video that walks you through a highly imaginative sculptured landscape created by one of the few remaining hedge artists. Imagine the loveliness that could be in the world if everyone with a yard were to go to such lengths to produce organic art of this caliber. Imagine everyone growing up with a maze made of living shrubberies, or dragon bushes, or even fantasy creatures who appear to keep a watchful eye over the yard. What a striking world that would be.

We all have been in the situation where someone goes to hand you something or pull something off the self and you are instantly drawn to what is glimmering from the fingers of the outstretched hand. At first you have an instant curiosity about what could possibly be so eye catching on the tips of a persons finger.

The thing that is catching peoples eye all over the globe is nail art. People have been painting their fingernails a rainbow of colors for as long as we can remember. Now they are taking a new approach to creating an eye catching masterpiece on each and every finger nail.

Nail art can be done in a number of ways will all kinds of different materials, colors, techniques, and designs. Some of the most popular forms of nail art are applying 2-D designs with colorful nail polishes on top of the traditional color. This can be done at just about any nail salon you enter. They normally have a chart of designs that you can choose from, or they will create a personalized design on the spot for you. These designs can be as simple as a few arching lines to as intricate as entire scenes or tangles of figures molded into a masterpiece. This kind of nail art is becoming increasingly popular when you have fake fingernails that are longer and stronger than your real fingernails. They are also very popular for pedicures, adding a fun and flirty design to your pedicure makes those cute, strapy sandals even more unique.

If you are looking to take nail art to the next level, there are a number of other ways you can add art to your nails. If you find an artist with a vision, the possibilities are endless. I was searching for some amazing nails that have been decorated to get some ideas for doing something for my own nails. My findings were astonishing! I never thought that it would be possible to have so many jewels, sparkles, flowers, and creative juices splashed onto one fingernail!

Nail art is an amazing form of art that unlike most kinds, can be seen everyday and changed as often as you please. If you are willing to take a chance and try out some nail art creations you can be the one that is catching someones eye as you go through your daily routine.

Many people enjoy taking an occasional risk by investing in the stock market or Forex trading. We’ve all heard advice from trusted advisors giving us tips on where to sink our investment dollars for the best chance at a high return. Seldom will any seasoned financial adviser recommend investing in art — but from 1875 to 2000 art has consistently outperformed fixed income. Since late 2009, art has also outperformed equities in the midst of recent stock market losses. To gun shy investors who have been on the losing end of those scenarios, this may sound comforting, but people should know that investing in art is far riskier than investing in stocks or the foreign exchange. There is no regulation in the trading of art, and values vary widely over short amounts of time. With transaction costs of up to 25%, purchases sometimes negate profits altogether. Let us also not forget that the public’s general appreciation of a piece of art at a given time in history can have a significant and even detrimental effect on its value; investing in art is like inviting the fickle public to decide somewhat arbitrarily what your money is worth.

With shifting and sliding stock market returns and interest rates at their rock bottom low, skeptical investors are looking seriously at alternative investment avenues. Some of them believe that different kinds of investments like the purchase of fine art, rare wine and vintage stamps could save the day. The performance of these alternative investments offers soem hope. The indices used to track the performance of art investments have held steady through the recent economic recession, and the auction houses are fetching record prices. If the stock market is just too risky for you right now, and the idea of dropping American dollars for those of other currencies in the foreign market seems too risky for you, and you happen to be lover of art anyway, then investing in art might be the thing for you.

Have you ever though to take a closer look at our dollar bill? Did you ever wonder why it is the way it is? Or maybe you wondered who created it? Whether you have or haven’t you might be surprised at the deeper meaning behind all of the details that were carefully placed on the dollar bill.

The one dollar bill is steadily loosing it’s value, therefor people are continuing to loose their interest in looking at them. It is the smallest of all the bills meaning that it holds the least value. A good way to spend your dollar bills is on direct tv. However the dollar bill means much more than that. The dollar bill used to be of great importance, you could buy much more with one dollar than you can now. If you have stopped to take a look at the details that are located on the dollar bill you might begin to ponder their meaning. Or you might be one of many that simply spend and receive the dollar bill without further thought.

The one dollar bill has the picture of our very first president George Washington. Some can argue that he was the most important of all presidents because he was the first, have you ever wondered why he isn’t on a bill of greater value? Take a look at the reasoning and details that are located on our dollar bill. You might think a little bit more about it when you spend them so easily.

Sketching is an art that requires lots of time, skill and practice. This video shows in fast motion someone sketching Jack Sparrow. This video blew me away. This artist knew exactly where to put what and didn’t make any mistakes that required erasing or alterations.

I have attempted to sketch things in the past and have been unsuccessful to make anything that looks better than what someone in middle school could draw. Although I have seen several sketches that young people have created that are amazing. I guess the age of the artist doesn’t have much to do with the kind of work that they produce.

I love to watch people in action when they are creating things. It inspires me to be better at what I do. You can tell from the way that they work that they have put a significant amount of practice into what they are doing. Just like anything practice makes perfect, or as close to it as humans can get. Although to be an artist you have to have something special inside of you. You have to have a certain creative element that makes you see things differently than other people. One of the best things about artists is that they can see things beyond anyone else. The way that they draw and decorate things is expressed in the light that they see them. Unlike people who can’t envision things. People who have to see to believe aren’t usually artists because they can’t see what they want to create in their mind.

Check out this amazing sketch artist in action!

Painting sounds so difficult that most people don’t even try to test their abilities. You can see someones famous works and automatically exclude yourself from the painting world. You never know until you try, and once you try you can practice making yourself better.

Come of the most famous works of art are paintings. They take a great amount of time and skill to create beautiful paintings. Some paintings are so beautiful that you can’t tell if it is a photograph or a painting. The beauty of art is in the eye of the beholder. No two people will look at a painting the same way and no two people will create a painting the same way. Everyone has their own unique style without even realizing it. How you look, read, draw, color, paint, visualize, place things in order is unique specifically to you.

No two people are alike and that is what makes art so special. So many different people can create so many different works of art. If you would like to become an artist you should try. Don’t automatically think that you wont be any good or you don’t know how. Get out there and try. Once you begin remember that there is no such thing as a mistake when dealing with art. Every mistake is just a creative opportunity.

When you are ready to begin painting you can choose between many different paints, brushes, and canvases. While the great artists can create an image in their head and put it perfectly on paper, when you first begin you might want to choose an image to paint and refer to it when you are working. Seeing the proportion of things in another image can help you create yours to a better scale.

Once you have your picture selected and supplies all ready to go it’s painting time! When you select a place to paint you don’t want things to get into it, so choose a room or space where pets and children can’t get to your painting. Some people can create multiple paintings in a day without a problem while others prefer to work on it a little bit at a time. Once you begin you will figure out which style you like best.

If your first painting isn’t what you want it to be don’t get discouraged. It takes lots of practice to become a painter, don’t think of it as failing, think about it as eliminating one wrong way and moving one step closer to the right way. Give painting a try to see if you have a hidden creativity. Decorating your house with pictures that you painted would be a fun creative touch to any decorating style.

Have you ever walked into a house and the only thing that could come to mind is “wow!”? Interior design is a way to take that passion for design and making a career out of it. If you love painting, fabrics, textures, furniture, and have a good eye for style you would make a great interior designer.

Interior design consists of making a house, room, or whole business visually appealing as well as functional. It seems like an easy job, moving furniture in a room, painting a couple of walls, it can’t be that hard right? Wrong. Interior design is harder than it looks, you have to have an eye for design and placement of objects.

Being an interior designer lets you create a number of spaces for other peoples pleasure. Unlike just designing your own home, you only have so many rooms and everything is centered around your personal taste. When you are a designer you have to work off what other people in-vision their rooms and houses to look like. It’s not always easy to please people when you don’t know what they want to see or you don’t know their style. Another problems interior designers can face is when the outside of the house doesn’t match what the owner is wanting the inside to be, for example if you have a very traditional brick house and you want a sleek, modern look inside it doesn’t flow well from the outside to the transition must be made by the designer.

If you want to make a career out of designing, you can major in interior design at a number of schools. You can get a degree in interior design through traditional classes as well as online classes.

Some of the advantages of being an interior designer is that you can have a flexible schedule, depending on what projects you are working on. You don’t have to be in an office all day. When you are working you’re designing new spaces or shopping for creative pieces. When you aren’t working on a project you can look at other people’s designs and get ideas.

Here are some salary facts about interior designers:

with less than 2 years experience they make an average of $37,597

with 2-4 years of experience they make an average of $44,608

with 4-6 years of experience they make an average of 51,903

with 6-8 years of experience they make an average of $60,770

with 8+ years of experience they make an average of $68,604

Art is mostly discipline. No matter how much inspiration a person has, in order to be an artist (a prolific one, at least) a person must ultimately create art. It takes time, and it takes patience, but most of all it requires a dedication to getting the job done, even when inspiration is nowhere to be found. If you think that all artists are just magically inspired 24 hours a day, then think again. Artists, while certainly in possession of a vision beyond that of ordinary men and women, are still human beings. They have to try. Art just doesn’t happen spontaneously — but rather, it needs to have time to evolve from an initial idea to the state of its full glory. An artists isn’t someone who can make beauty happen quickly (although he can be) but someone who can tell when it is time for the art to come alive.

When looking at the works of truly great artists like Matisse and Van Gogh, it would be all too easy to assume art just comes easily for them. They do make it look that way, after all, but nothing could be farther from the truth. After spending years acquiring the basic skills needed to practice their art techniques, the artists still have to reach the point where they can identify and exude their own unique styles. This mastery of self expression is the goal of the great artist who wants to only be known by one name like the masters of old.

It is seldom advisable for an artist to lock himself in a room with supplies during a time of disenchantment, attempting to force inspired moments to take place. Rather, if inspiration for a new creation is lacking, it is better to perform an artistic task that is not really high “art” in the common sense of the word. Maybe it could be a still image of a pool or a piece of fruit, or a sketch of a favorite storefront in the city or village. Whatever it is, the artist should always keep moving forward, even when inspiration is at a low.

The next time you view an art exhibit, take a few moments to imagine the artist during a spell of aridity, and what you think he or she might do to move on past that barrier, into the realm of the ultra creative, into the world of artistic expression again. Imagine how long you think it must have taken for them to erect their sculptures, or paint their pictures.
